El fin del semana del 7 al 10 de Enero de 2010 se celebrará el maraton y medio maratón Walt Disney World en Orlando Florida. Llamado Reto Goofy. Este evento es uno de los más populares en Estados Unidos y seguramente el más familiar.
Muchos corredores aprovechan este maratón para llevar a sus familias al famoso parque de diversiones en Florida. El viernes se corre una carrerita familiar de 5km, El sábado se corre el medio maratón y el domingo el maratón, igualmente esta la modalidad llamada el "Reto de Goofy" limitado a 4.000 corredores, este reto consiste en correr, primero, el día sábado la media maratón (21km) y el día siguiente (domingo) el maratón completo (42), a los osados que logren completar las dos pruebas le otorgan la medalla de Goofy y se iran a sus casas con tres sendas medallas. Yo ya me inscribí, así que superaré límites ese fin de semana.
