Hynes Veterans Memorial Convention Center 900 Boylston Street, Boston In its 33rd year, the Expo will feature more than 200 exhibitors. Admission is free and open to the public. Youth Relay Challenge - 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Copley Square Park, Boston The 14th annual event will include more than 800 kids from the B.A.A.'s Club 114 youth running program. Sunday, April 18, 2010 B.A.A. 5K - 8:00 a.m. Boylston Street - At Boston Public Library Approximately 5,000 entrants will run a 3.1-mile course through downtown, starting and finishing on Boylston Street. Several past champions of the Boston Marathon are expected to run. Registration for the 5K is now closed. B.A.A. Invitational Mile - 9:30 a.m. (following the conclusion of the B.A.A. 5K) Boylston Street - At Boston Public Library Middle School 1,000 meter races (Girls, Boys): The fastest Middle School runners from the eight cities and towns through which the Marathon course runs will compete on Boylston Street. Scholastic Mile (Girls, Boys): The top high school runners from the eight cities and towns along the Marathon course will compete on Boylston Street. Sixteen girls and sixteen boys will race around a multi-loop course, finishing on the Boston Marathon finish line. Professional Mile (Women, Men): Top national and world-class milers will race to culminate the morning's event. 114th Boston Marathon Number Pick-Up - 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. John B. Official entrants and guests are invited. Runners are assigned a certain time for being seated, which will be included in your bib packet. Monday, April 19, 2010 (Race Day) B.A.A. Athletes' Village - 6:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. Hopkinton High School, Hopkinton Official entrants only are invited. Entertainment, light refreshments, Poland Spring water, Gatorade Endurance Formula, tenting, and portable toilets will be available. Start of Mobility Impaired Program - 9:00 a.m. Start of Handcycle Participants - 9:17 a.m. Start of Push Rim Wheelchair Division - 9:22 a.m. Start of Elite Women's Race - 9:32 a.m. Start of Elite Men's Race and Wave One - 10:00 a.m. Start of Wave Two - 10:30 a.m. Boston Marathon Awards Ceremony - 5:00 p.m. Grand Ballroom - Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel The champions and top age-division finishers will receive their awards. Boston Marathon Post-Race Party - 7:30 p.m. - 12:00 p.m. John B. Hynes Veterans Memorial Convention Center 3rd Floor Ballroom (use shopping mall entrance) 900 Boylston Street, Boston Official entrants, volunteers, and guests are invited, and tickets are required for entry. Official entrants of the Boston Marathon receive free entry with their bib number. A limited number of additional tickets will be available for purchase at Number Pick-Up. The event features dancing, live entertainment, a race video, race results, cash bar, Wii Challenge, and light dinner fare available for purchase. Party restricted to persons 21 and older.
